computers in the classroom
During my highschool years, I have worked with many childeren. It seems to me as if they learned more when they were doing hands on activities. The kids liked the computer activities but soon they got bored with them. With this knowlege my opinion on whether there should be less computers in the classroom is, yes there should be less computers in the class. I feel that putting computers in a class is taking away from the teacher in that class who worked so hard to get their degree and I find it very unfair. Computers can interfear with learning also because the kids may get distracted and unfocused because the computers are in the classroom. I know when I was younger having a computer in the class seemed to be the biggest thing ever. Everyone wanted to get on the computer, we used to try to rush our teacher to finish the lesson so that our computer time could be longer. Computers are a distraction and the less computers in a room the less distraction and the less distraction the more learning. Education could be better throughout the whole nation if there were fewer computers in the classrooms, at least in my opinion. Less computers mean better learning, better learning means better education in each classroom.
