Televison: Destroying Childhood

I agree with Bachtel when he says that without a televison set in the home, that children will have less exposure to sex and violence. Television has made a huge negative impact on the American nation. It is responcible for introducing sex, violence, and bad language to todays children. I also agree when Bachtel says that though television is a good source of information sometimes, that it is not the only source of information. Though television gives the most recent news faster than anything else, the internet can give the same information, and sometimes it gives more accurate information. Basically, there are other ways to get information, from newspapers to encylcopidieas, there are many different sources to get information from. You dont always have to watch television in order to stay up on the news. Television is also a set back, If someone were to take their televison out of their house, they would find that they could get so much more done around the house. Without a TV, a person could become a much more productive person.

Ebony,
Your blogs thus far this semester have been well-thought out and clear responses to the prompts; however, they have also been infrequent. Especially in this second half of the semester, keep working hard to turn in blogs and homework on time, so you'll be able to get credit for your work.
